Dear Greater High Tech Community,
It is amazing how fast the year has gone by. It seems like only yesterday that we were at the Welcome Back Picnic recruiting you (we had more than 100 PTA volunteers this year) to help kick off the school year and now we only have a few weeks remaining until summer break. What an amazing year! We raised more than $120,000 in donations for our school, enjoyed wonderful community events throughout the year — bringing us all closer together — and celebrated the end of prohibition as only our parent’s could at the Flappers and Fellas Soiree and Auction ($60,000 raised) in April.
- FOSS science curriculum and the 2016-17 Spanish teacher salary
- Nutrition Week, Safety and Security Week, as well as the Parenting Safe Workshop
- Four well attended Direct Giving Parties raising more than $45,000
- Community events: Welcome Back Picnic, Fall Festival, Hall of Hearts, Hot Cocoa Bar…
- Room Parent Program: planning parties, building auction baskets, organizing teacher appreciation week…
- Funding the bounce house at the upcoming High Tech Field Days (5/17 for K-5 & 5/18 for ECE)
- And many, many more…
Come celebrate our great year and catch up with friends!
