Join us for the first annual High Tech Elementary PTA Auction, April 18, 2015, starting at 6:00pm. This year’s event theme, “A Night in Disguise,” is a masquerade party. Wearing masks is desired.

The auction will be held at Hangar 61 {8700 E 21st Ave} just off of Central Park Boulevard in Stapleton. This is going to be a fun night of heavy hors d’oeuvres, open bar, multiple entertainments and the ability to bid on amazing gifts from local businesses and entrepreneurs.

Tickets for this charity event are on sale now throughbuy-tickets Blacktie Colorado. Individual ticket prices are set at $60. Couples can join in the fun and buy two tickets for $110 or bring additional friends and buy four tickets for $200.

All proceeds will be allocated to High Tech Elementary School (HTES) specials teacher(s) funding for the 2015-16 school year along with additional library books, in-class technology and equipment not funded by the Denver Public School (DPS) budget. The state of Colorado ranks 41st in technology funding in elementary schools. To put that into perspective, the DPS 2015-16 school budget for technology is only $8 per student while the cost for an additional Apple iMac computer in our technology lab is $1,249. Also, we receive $0 of DPS funding to aid us in purchasing musical instruments or art supplies.

With the hopes of raising the most amount of money possible to benefit High Tech Elementary School, the PTA is asking for your help. Come be a part of making a difference in our children’s education while having fun and supporting our local businesses. We look forward to seeing you there!

The High Tech Elementary PTA is a non-profit 501(c)(3). The overall purpose of High Tech Elementary PTA is to make every student’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all our children.
